We’re taking our WildWriting Practice on the Road…
to write, eat and discover Italy

 “So Much begins with Longing….

Let your yearning be the beginning of your doing…”

Join a small group of fellow writers and culinary enthusiasts for a week of writing and dining adventures….and staying….in a dreamy farmhouse in the rolling hills of Tuscany!

For those who wish to experience the deep pleasures of Italian country life, il Bareto offers the perfect gateway to the cultural and sensuous pleasures of central Tuscany. Located just 14 kilometers from the famous medieval town of Siena, this 17th-century restored farmhouse offers comfortable accommodations and spectacular views. Perched on a hill across the meadow stands Celsa castle, an architectural jewel and the main view from most of the rooms at il Bareto. The delightful grounds and pool area offer a place to stroll, relax and dine al fresco (for additional information and photos go to www.hiddenitaly.com. Click on “near Siena”, then il Bareto.).

Our one-week culinary journey will focus on seasonal Tuscan cooking. When you’re not exploring ancient villages and local markets, you will learn to make delicious meals from local chefs at the Dante Alighieri Culinary Institute, including fresh ravioli, various pastas, bruschetta, Osso Bucco, Bistecca alla Fiorentina and wonderful desserts, such as Tiramasu and Panna Cotta. Also learn to work with seasonal produce, all while savoring fabulous local wines. Whether you love to be in the kitchen or prefer to sightsee and shop, our culinary adventure in Tuscany will exceed your expectations.

WildWriting: Creating from True Center :

WildWriting from Center is the heart of Judyth’s teaching.
Whatever our genres may be, we all long to craft language that shines, whispers, roars, that sighs
…that transcends…and drops down… deeply…into core.
We write with a huge passion for sensate, juicy detail…
 lush and emotive…and cerebral…and and and…..!

WildWriting Inspires and ignites your Creativity to create work
that is strong, crafted, sings and soars… all senses engaged….
…heart open to this so-amazing & luscious world!

WildWriting Entrains your wild, associative mind,
to let images and associations flow freely, from heart/mind to pen/to paper
and at the same time have access to so much more:
weaving in sights, sounds scents and sensations…the memories and real-live beauty of the world around us:
and we learn to just write….
letting the mind follow itself…without judgment…
& always, bringing what we love most into our work!

WildWriting Gives us constant access, over and over,
to our deepest creative selves:
To the one inside who can see anew….
and who only needs this wide open field to play…
to rest, to range and rove and dream…

WildWriting Teaches us Writing as a Practice of Listening!!!! …
Deeply…With Passionate Curiosity & Constant Amazement!!
And then: In Joy …In Beauty…We Write it Down!
